It is not yet confirmed whether the 14-month-old Mila is due to be christened with a name but it is widely believed the youngster is likely to be called Mila. The couple are already calling her Eliana.
A photograph of the couple’s first kiss has gone viral after she was pictured with her dad after the first official public date.
At 3.17pm today Rafael Nadal and his wife Anette made their first official public appearance for the day, walking along the beach with daughter Eliana before being whisked off in an official car to the beachfront Hotel Majestic.
Anette was wearing a navy one-piece with a matching hat and a long-sleeved striped blouse.
It was a warm afternoon. The couple are likely to have spent the day in Paphos to celebrate Mila’s arrival.
The child was born prematurely after Rafael was left with a broken rib and a collapsed lung during a charity match.
When he was flown to the United States on Monday night an emergency C-section took place to avoid a worse outcome.
Nadal was given an anti-inflammatory medication and has been resting on the sidelines in Florida.
